The McCormick XTractor tour departed Melbourne early Tuesday morning in convoy, on the first leg of their 8500km adventure.
The first stage moved through the Mornington Peninsular on a “picture perfect” day before boarding the Queenscliff-Sorrento ferry for the start of the Great Ocean Rd leg.
A quick catch up with local media, and some lunch before they took on the curves of the Great road, which was handled with easy by the fully suspendered 7 ton McCormick X7 tractors.
The crew spent the first night on the road in beautiful Apollo Bay, Victoria……mostly likely contemplating the remaining 8300kms……. before heading to the 12 Apostles today.
