With the help of its partners Bobcat and Doosan, Clark Equipment is making a large donation of equipment valued at approximately $650,000 to aid in flood recovery efforts throughout Queensland.
The range of machines Clark Equipment is donating will be used in an array of different recovery projects; Bobcat Loaders and Compact Excavators to help with cleanup and small to mid-size earthmoving, a Doosan large excavator and wheel loader for larger worksites, and Doosan Portable Power generators and lighting equipment for worksites requiring power and light for night operations.
The first machine of the donation, the Doosan DL200 Wheel Loader, is being delivered to the Lockyer ValleyRegional Council's Gatton Depot today, with a Doosan DX140 (14 Tonne Excavator) to follow next week, along with several Bobcat Loaders and Excavators.
"I'm pleased that Lockyer Valley Regional Council is the first to receive machines from our donation" said Steve Goodall, Clark Equipment's General Manager - Northern Region. "Lockyer is facing a damage bill of up to $1bn*, and a significant part of that will be paid from Council funds. We hope that by donating these machines, we can be helping work to commence immediately on rebuilding bridges, roads, and other vital pieces of infrastructure".
