2014 got off to a flying start for Terberg in Australia with the delivery of two Road Registered, Australian Design Rule (ADR) compliant Yard Tractors to Linfox one of Australia’s largest Logistics and Transport Companies.
The first a Model YT220 4x2 is operating at Coles Smeaton Grange Distribution Centre on the outskirts of Sydney
whilst the second a 6x4 (pictured) is handling laden B Doubles at Arnotts Biscuits Huntingwood facility. Both Tractors are powered by Cummins ISB 6.7 Add Blue, Euro5 Engines driving through an Allison Transmission and Terberg Planetary Axles.
Delivery of these two units completes an order for eight Terbergs Tractors placed late last year by Linfox and brings their fleet to more than twenty five units operating around Australia. Terberg Tractors have served the Linfox Group well since they took delivery of their first one back in 2007 and are the mainstay of their Yard Tractor Distribution Centre fleet. Included in the fleet is a recently delivered model TT223 which caught Chairman Peter Fox’s eye during a visit to the Hannover Fair.
At 70 Tonne GCM Clark claim the Terberg 6x4 has the highest GCM available on any ADR compliant Yard Tractor in Australia. Complete with mechanical Steering and ABS Brakes the standard ADR compliant 6x4 Terberg is rated up to 80KPH with optional speeds available.
Terberg Tractors are sold and supported in Australia and New Zealand by the Clark Equipment Group.
